So, obviously some of you have trouble placing your images in the right category which results in a declined submission as of November 2015. Because of this descriptions have been added inside all the folders. To make life easier for all of us, this is kind of a glossary which states the same information!
And to make it even easier, both the groups main gallery and the groups favourites, have identical subfolders.
We focus on stylish, glamourous PinUps/Bombshells in vintage/retro clothes, depicting the pinup art style of the 1940s through 1960s. This is about the fashions of yesteryear like Girdles, Corsets, Bullet Bras, Longline Bras, Garter Belts, Nightwear, Swimwear, Stockings, Pantyhose, High Heels.

Quality PinUp selection ranging from photos over CGI to digital/traditional works. This folder is closed for submissions, only admins can move images in there.

Hello everyone - hope you're doing great!
Two announcements for special projects for Nova619 for those of you who like to do pin-up art.
The first is chance to contribute a piece of art for the NOVA 619 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL online for OCTOBER 31ST 2014! In short - draw any Marvel Cosmic character in a horror, or Halloween type setting. You can either use some of the existing Nova 619 characters via - http://novaprime.deviantart.com/gallery/36707179/619-REF-PICS or if its is a character that hasn't been yet featured in the 619 universe (e.g the Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, etc) you can submit it but with a re-design of your own devising! Art to be A4 (210 X 297 MM). Deadline is OCTOBER 1ST 2014! If you plan to ink or color your art do let us know.

Today, pin-up fashion has an edgy and alternative modern twist. Pin-up girls have always been classic choices in the world of body art, but now pin-up has become a popular fashion trend for women who themselves have a passion for body art. The combination of classy and edgy is unique and beautiful.

This isn't an exhaustive history of Pin Up Photography but a brief intro and its influence on glamour, portrait, fetish and pin up photography today.
Pin Up photography has been around for a very long time it has been said that the first "Pin Up" style photographs were about in the 1890's and attributed to the "French Postcards" sold on the streets of France
In the early 1900's Pin Up became very popular with images of scantily dressed women playfully posed and often seeming startled or suprised and also with a look of delight.
Its alleged that the term Pin Up wasnt actually used for this type of photography and artwork until 1941. Many of the popular Pin Ups were photographs of celebreties and film stars of the day.
Famous Pin Ups in the 20's,30's and 40,s include Pin up obsessionOk I admit it. I have a problem. I just cant stop looking at Pin up girls. They are just so gorgeous and you know the world cant be a too bad a place whilst they are in it making cupcakes, and other yummy foods.
